Head of The Mountains Sports & NIL

Location: Colorado, Utah, or Las Vegas

As the Head of The Mountains Sports & NIL, you will be responsible for leading all sports and NIL-related activities within the assigned region. You will drive strategic partnerships, raise funding for groundbreaking projects, secure investments, and create innovative programs to elevate athletes, organizations, and communities. This is a high-profile leadership role with a unique opportunity to drive significant growth and revenue for the company while shaping the future of sports and NIL in the region and you will manage operations across the following locations: Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana & The Dakotas

You will also be working with our Sports BETTING & CASINO Department!!

Responsibilities:
  • Raise $25B to $50B in funding to support FAM Enterprises’ growth, enabling the acquisition of sports-related assets and further investments into sports and NIL initiatives.
  • Actively secure funds from investors, venture capitalists, angel investors, and funding partners to finance projects, acquisitions, and expansion efforts.
  • You must be able to raise the funds necessary to drive the success and growth of FAM Enterprises in the region. This will include identifying key sources of capital, securing financial commitments, and ensuring timely allocation of funds across strategic initiatives.
  • Drive revenue growth by securing licenses for merchandise, media & streaming, sports betting, and casinos.
  • Work closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and acquire all necessary industry licenses.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with every sports league, team, athlete, high school, college, and the USA Olympic Committee in the region.
  • Offer FAM Enterprises’ sports services to regional stakeholders, unlocking new revenue and NIL opportunities.
  • Collaborate with global brands, local businesses, leagues, and organizations to create win-win partnerships that enhance the NIL ecosystem.
  • Lead the growth of FAM Enterprises’ programs in Colorado, Utah, and Las Vegas, ensuring success in every market.
  • Innovate strategies to maximize NIL opportunities for athletes while ensuring compliance with regional and national regulations.
  • Develop programs to enhance student-athletes’ development in collaboration with high schools, colleges, and sports teams.
  • Lead community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of FAM Enterprises’ sports and NIL opportunities.
  • Advocate for the interests and well-being of athletes, ensuring they have access to the best opportunities in sports and NIL.
  • Represent FAM Enterprises at regional events, conferences, and industry meetings to promote the company’s mission and vision.
  • Identify, onboard, and mentor top athletes, offering them access to NIL opportunities to elevate their personal brands.
  • Guide athletes on how to responsibly leverage NIL opportunities for financial success and long-term growth.
  • Lead a team of Regional Directors of Sports & NIL, ensuring the effective execution of regional strategies and initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity within the team, aligning with FAM Enterprises’ values and vision.
  • Contribute to the acquisition of sports-related businesses, sports complexes, and facilities across the Mountain West region, further expanding FAM Enterprises’ footprint.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to evaluate and execute strategic acquisitions that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Oversee the performance of regional initiatives, leveraging data and insights to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge in the evolving sports and NIL landscape.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to establish FAM Enterprises as the leading authority in sports and NIL within the region.
  • Support the company’s efforts to increase brand visibility at key national and international sporting events, promoting FAM Enterprises as a global leader.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities for FAM Enterprises in underrepresented markets within the Mountain West region.
  • Create localized programs to engage communities and maximize athlete participation in FAM Enterprises’ initiatives.
  • Drive the development of sponsorship and advertising deals with key brands and businesses to further monetize FAM Enterprises’ sports and NIL assets.
  • Ensure partnerships and sponsorships are effectively integrated into regional strategies for maximum impact.
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices in both the short and long-term to ensure continuous growth and operational success across all regions.
  • Evaluate and adjust strategies based on the evolving sports, technology, and NIL landscape.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in the sports industry, with a focus on sports business development, NIL initiatives, or sports management.
  • Former or current professional athlete, high-level executive, or owner of a sports-related company with proven success in growing businesses, managing sports teams, and securing key partnerships.
  • Track record of raising funds, securing investments, and executing high-impact sports and NIL initiatives in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Must have established relationships with owners, teams, athletes, and investors within the sports industry. You should possess an extensive network of key contacts that can help drive business growth and open doors to new opportunities.
  • Deep network of relationships within the sports, entertainment, and media industries, including connections with athletes, teams, brands, and organizations.
  • Expert knowledge of NIL regulations, opportunities, and strategies.
  • Strong understanding of business development, including experience with sports licensing, media, and betting sectors.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex deals, manage high-stakes partnerships, and secure critical investments.
  • Data-driven decision-making with the ability to monitor, analyze, and improve regional initiatives for maximum ROI.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage high-performing teams, communicate effectively, and lead cross-functional efforts.
  • Expertise in acquisitions and business development in the sports sector, including experience in sports complex management and facility development.

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Head of Utah Sports & NIL, driving transformative initiatives across the state. This position is critical in empowering athletes, schools, teams, and organizations by leading innovative sports and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the sports landscape, a proven track record of leadership, and a passion for supporting athletes and fostering community growth. Candidates must be current or former athletes, executives, or owners of sports-related businesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and expand the company’s sports and NIL initiatives throughout Utah.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with Utah-based athletes, schools, teams, and organizations.
  • Design and implement strategies to help athletes maximize NIL opportunities while adhering to state and national regulations.
  • Partner with schools and teams to create and support programs that directly benefit student-athletes.
  • Secure strategic partnerships with Utah brands, leagues, and sports organizations to elevate NIL and sports programs.
  • Advocate for athletes and teams while ensuring full compliance with NIL laws and guidelines specific to Utah.
