As a Sports Donor Relations Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with donors, securing financial contributions, and driving partnerships that will help expand women’s sports worldwide. You will play a key role in fundraising, networking, and creating opportunities to ensure the success of the Women in Sports Program.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies to secure donations from individuals, corporations, and organizations.
Build Relationships with athletes, schools, leagues, teams, investors, governments, and sports organizations to drive support for the program.
Create Sponsorship & Partnership Opportunities with businesses and influential figures in the sports industry.
Manage Donor Engagement & Retention through personalized communication, events, and recognition programs.
Collaborate with Marketing & PR Teams to develop campaigns, materials, and events that promote donor engagement.
Monitor & Report on Fundraising Efforts, ensuring transparency and effectiveness in donor relations.
Attend Networking Events & Conferences to promote FAM ATHLETICS and secure new funding sources.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, sponsorships, or partnerships, preferably in the sports industry.
Strong network within sports, business, and philanthropic communities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage high-profile donors and organizations.
Passion for women’s sports, youth development, and global sports initiatives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of fundraising platforms, grant writing, and donor management is a plus.
