WE ARE HIRING ATHLETES!!

Group 5

About Us: Group of 5 Sports Department

At FAM ENTERPRISES, our mission is bold, intentional, and long overdue:
We are here to build up the Group of 5 Conferences and create sustainable pathways, transformative partnerships, and innovative platforms that uplift student-athletes, athletic departments, and the communities they represent.

We believe the Group of 5 is the heartbeat of college sports — and it’s time the world sees it that way.

The Group of 5 Conferences include:

  • American Athletic Conference (AAC)
  • Conference USA (C-USA)
  • Mid-American Conference (MAC)
  • Mountain West Conference (MWC)
  • Sun Belt Conference (SBC)

These five conferences are home to some of the most passionate fans, hardest-working athletes, and deeply rooted school cultures in the country. From powerhouse football programs to elite basketball squads and Olympic-level talent, the G5 conferences are overflowing with potential — but they haven’t always received the investment or exposure they deserve.

For decades, these institutions have been overlooked and underfunded compared to their Power Five counterparts. Media coverage is limited. NIL support is inconsistent. And national partnerships often pass them by.

That changes now.

At FAM ENTERPRISES, we are committed to leveling the playing field — not just through talk, but through tangible action. Our strategy is simple: invest in people, build infrastructure, create visibility, and deliver results.

We are launching a national initiative focused entirely on strengthening the Group of 5 by:

  • Providing full-time leadership for each conference and every school
  • Creating job opportunities and NIL platforms for current and former athletes
  • Launching internship programs for students in sports, media, and business
  • Building partnerships with brands, leagues, and organizations across the country
  • Telling the stories that have gone untold — through media, merchandise, and movement

This isn’t a side project. This is our core mission in college sports.
We see greatness in every locker room, every sideline, and every stadium across the Group of 5. Our job is to elevate that greatness, amplify those voices, and build something bigger than a brand — a movement.

Phase 1: Hiring 5 G5 Conference Leaders

We’re starting with top-tier leadership by appointing one dedicated FAM Conference Director for each G5 conference. These five leaders will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with conference commissioners and school athletic directors
  • Leading strategy, growth, and expansion in their respective conferences
  • Coordinating NIL programs, athlete support, school outreach, and brand development
  • Overseeing sponsorships, merchandising, marketing, and alumni relations
  • Serving as the key liaison between FAM ENTERPRISES and the entire conference ecosystem

Phase 2: One Leader + Full Team at Each G5 School

At the school level, we’re creating a full support system designed for growth and sustainability:

  1. 1 Director of (School) Relations & Sports – leads all local initiatives
  2. A support team of 10–25 people per school, including:
  • Former athletes
  • Current students
  • Recent graduates
  • Sports business interns
  • Local creatives, marketers, and storytellers

Each team will operate like a FAM micro-agency, helping athletes build brands, structure NIL deals, launch products, tell their stories, and connect with communities.

These teams will also work on:

  • Event planning and fan engagement
  • School spirit campaigns and game-day experiences
  • Alumni and booster relations
  • Merchandising, digital content, and media production
  • Community service and outreach programs

🎯 Our Bigger Vision for the Group of 5

Our goal is simple but powerful:

🏆 To become the #1 college sports company in the United States.

We believe that starts with empowering the underdogs—the Group of 5 schools and athletes who’ve had to work harder to get noticed. These programs have the talent, the heart, and the stories the world needs to see.

We’re building:

  • A nationwide movement of former athletes and student leaders
  • A media platform that features the G5
  • A pipeline to Team USA and Olympic partnerships
  • A college-to-pro athlete development model
  • A network of brand partnerships, sponsors, and funders
  • A national marketplace for school merch, content, and NIL campaigns

💼 Why It Matters

This is about more than sports. It’s about:

  • Equity – Giving G5 schools the same resources and visibility as Power 5s
  • Access – Opening doors for student-athletes to thrive professionally
  • Culture – Telling the real stories of athletes, schools, and communities
  • Legacy – Building something that transforms lives and reshapes the sports world
